2017 MWBL AWARDS

The 2017 MWBL Awards were posted today. For a complete list of all the 2017 MWBL Awards winners please check out the Awards Results Page.  Also posted were Gold Glove Winners, All-Star Starters & Reserves.

Southbend Jose Altuve took home the Most Valuable Player in the American League.  Francisco Lindor of Sacramento took home the National League’s Most Valuable Player. 

Chicago’s – Noah Syndergaard won the American League Cy Young & Tempe’s Jon Lester pitched the Tempers to the World Series & won the Cy Young in the National League.

Hollywood’s Kenta Maeda won the American League Rookie of the Year & Corey Seager of the Triple Creek Patriots won the National League Rookie of the Year.

Chicago’s – Aroldis Chapman the American League Rolaids Reliever of the Year & Mark Melancon of  Sacramento won the National League Rolaids Reliever of the Year Award.

Manager of the Year Award in the American League went to American League World Series manager John “Stray” Corrado of the Chicago Mobsters .   World Series winning Manager Chris Douglass of the Tempe Tempers took home the honors in the National League.
