Fremont @ Bethesda - Billed as a battle of ineptitude, Fremont (53-97) visited Bethesda (46-104) as Bethesda made one final grasp at catching Fremont for 3rd place in the AL EAST (just under 50 games out of first for those of you keeping score at home)

GAME ONE - FREMONT 6, BETHESDA 5 (16)
Bethesda's bullpen just ran out of gas in the 16th inning as Logan Morrison singled home the game-winner for Fremont.
FREMONT 012 000 200 000 000 1 6-17-1 W-Neshek (1-1) Sv-Gregg (9) HR-CJohnson (10)
BETHESDA 000 000 320 000 000 0 5-17-2 L-Sosa (4-6) HR-DHernandez (12)

GAME TWO - BETHESDA 4, FREMONT 3
Luke Hochevar avoids loss #20 yet again as Bethesda comes from behind to edge Fremont 4-3. Chris Johnson of Fremont gets knocked out for the rest of the season in the game.
FREMONT 102 000 000 3-9-0 L-Billingsley (7-17) HR-BPhillips (18)
BETHESDA 000 001 30x 4-10-1 W-Hochevar (9-19) Sv-Ruffin (1) HR-Brantley (7)

GAME THREE - BETHESDA 7, FREMONT 5
Bethesda comes from behind for the third straight game as they score five runs in the 5th to take it 7-5.
FREMONT 120 100 100 5-10-0 L-Nolasco (8-17) HR-BPhillips (19), DeJesus (6), Morrison (19)

GAME FOUR - FREMONT 10, BETHESDA 4
Bethesda comes back from an early 3-run deficit again, but then all hell breaks loose in the 6th as Fremont scores six unearned runs on three errors to mash the home team 10-4.
FREMONT 210 106 000 10-13-0 W-Oswalt (7-16) HR-Wilson (4)
BETHESDA 003 000 010 4-13-3 L-Matusz (2-11) HR-Pacheco (3)

GAME FIVE - FREMONT 3, BETHESDA 2 (10)

BETHESDA 000 100 100 0 2-7-2 L-Storen (2-5) HR-none

GAME SIX - FREMONT 12, BETHESDA 8
In the fugliest game of the series, each team mashes the others pitching with Fremont doing some major damage to pitchers and fielders alike. John Mayberry and Diory Hernandez knock each other silly chasing for a ball and are gone for the rest of the season.
FREMONT 110 310 222 12-14-0 W-Luebke (7-8) HR-Swisher (22), Molina 2 (3), Colvin (10)

Hollywood @ Tijuana - Hollywood takes the series 4-2

Pittsburgh @ Chicago - The Lumber Company smack around the Mobsters taking 4 of 6 games.

Detroit @ Elyria - Detroit takes 6 of 7 at Elyria.

Yonge Street @ Coconut Creek -  YSS came into the series swinging the bats. CCC hit 5 homers in Game-1 and got blown out. After 3 games it was looking like a YSS sweep.

CCC righted the ship and took games 4 and 5.

Game-6 CCC needed a win to split the series and stay within 2 games of Severn. YSS had Grade-3w Weiland on the hill. He had zero wins on the year and an ERA over 7.
So it only made sense that he threw a complete game 2-hit shutout against us. We deserve to miss the playoffs after this game.

Southbend @ Severn - Severn manages to win 4 of 6 against Southbend.

Virginia @ Dallas - In a very competitive series save for one game Dallas and Virginia split.

Manhattan @ Sacramento - Sacramento takes 4 of 6 from Manhattan, with Manhattan taking two very close games. Sacramento didn't let most of its rotation to go beyond 5 innings, as it reset its rotation in preparation for its last series against Camarillo. Nothing exciting to report.

Iron City @ Bay State - Iron City manages to take 2 of the 6 games vs Iron City as LeBlanc and Hammell pitched shutouts. Lincecum had a no hitter into the 7th but settled for a 2 hitter winning his 18th 1-0.

Camarillo @ West Coast - Camarillo takes 5 of 6 from West Coast and do it rather handily.

GAME 1 NOTE - C.J. Wilson of Camarillo goes to 21-7 - and DOES IT WITH A NO-HITTER. He missed a perfect game by 1 batter who reached on 2bman Keppinger's error in the 6th. Wilson fanned 6 in the game. SCORE: 2-0 HR Jones (7)
G 2 - Camarillo 5-4 WP Mujica (4-6) S Casilla (34) LP Perez (3-4, and BS 4) HR: CAM: Aybar (4), Jones (8)

Roseville @ Clovis - Clovis and Roseville split six in perfect synchronization; Wheat Kings win games 1-3-5 and Roseville takes 2-4-6. The split leaves Roseville one game ahead of Clovis in the important race for third place in the NL West!

Tempe @ Motor City - G1 - Tempe scored 14 runs capped by a Tulo HR and 3B. McCarthy wins #16 - TEM 14-2
G2 - Tulo's two run HR was all Cain needed to record win #32. Holland picked up his 33rd save. TEM 4-1

Valdosta @ Long Beach - Valdosta takes 5 of 6 from Long Beach.

It was not pretty.
