Game #3 – Phil Humber (10-9 3.03) hits Sean Rodriguez twice, as benches clear. Aftermath has only Humber ejected. Final Score: Chicago 7 – Coconut Creek 4

Game #6 – Crushers pick up their only win in the series on a Ryan Howard HR off Aroldis Chapman in the 9th. Final Score: Coconut Creek 2 - Chicago 1
 
Detroit @ Dallas - In Game 1 Saltalamacchia’s 1 out triple in the 6th inning and a two out single by Ichiro turns a 3-3 tie into a 5-3 Detroit advantage as they go on to win 6 to 3. Singles by Maybrin and Ichiro in the 10th give the Crime the victory in Game 2 by a score of 4 to 2. Jason Marquis pitches a complete game 2 hit shutout as Dallas won Game 3 2-0, but Detroit’s Duensing follows that up with a complete game shutout of his own in Game 4. He would allow only 3 hits while striking out 8. Final score: Detroit 4, Dallas 0. Hamilton breaks another 3 all tie this time in Game 5 when he mashes a two run dinger in the 5th. It was his 23rd home run of the year. Detroit wins 6 to 3. In Game 6 the Crime got another complete game shutout this time by Villanueva as they win 3 to 0. Overall Detroit wins the series 5 games to 1.

The Camarillo bats had a hard time getting going in the series - only finaly waking up in the final game. Joey Votto increased his batting average to .362 - attempting to be the first Quest player to ever win a MVP award.
 
Jersey @ Clovis - Jersey @ Clovis; felt more like we were playing the '27 Yankees.

Gm 3: 8-3 MCM; Close game until MCM busts it up in top of 9th with 2 2-R doubles by Flores and Giovatella and an RBI single by Andino. Nunez accounts for all WCS runs with a SF, and RBI triple and single. WP--McGee LP--Lindblom

Gm 4: 7-2 WCS; Gee is dominating, Victoino (solo) and Trumbo (2-R) homer, Pierre and Zimmerman add 2-R singles. WP--Gee LP--Blanton

Gm 5: 2-0 WCS; MCM is shut out for third time in the series. Solo HR by Desmond, RBI 1B by Young Jr. WP--Baker LP--Leake SV--Perez

Gm 6: 6-1 WCS; Tomlin with another gem, Cuddyer and Victorino each with a 2-R bomb. Another RBI for Nunez. WP--Tomlin LP--Hunter
