Southbend @ Fremont -  The Lynx come into Fremont to face the struggling Cannons, and come out 4-2 series winners. The Cannons have not won a series since beating Coconut Creek in early April.
 
Bethesda @ Hollywood - Hollywood gets a sweep but apart from only a couple of games in the series it was actually pretty darned close.
 
Dallas @ Coconut Creek - Dallas and Coconut Creek split 4 close games 2-2. CCC won the other 2 much easier.

After losing Game-2 in 14 innings and having our relievers completely used up, the 2012 #1 overall draft pick (Mr Ryan Vogelsong) hurled a timely no-hitter to rest the entire bullpen.
 
Pittsburgh @ Detroit - Pittsburgh wins the series.
 
Yonge Street @ Severn - Severn manages to win 5 of 6 at home.
 
Tijuana @ Elyria - Tijuana comes to Ohio and takes the first three then Elyria rebounds to barely take the last three. Tough series.
 
Virginia @ Chicago - Chicago takes on the Sluggers from Virginia.
Game #1 - Felix Hernandez improves to 15-5  2.27 - Five runs in the first two innings is too much for the Sluggers to handle.  Final Score: Chicago 6 - Virginia 2
Game #2 - A costly injury forces Buster Posey to the D.L. for 35 days, but the Mobsters win in extra - Final Score: Chicago 4 - Virginia 3
Game #3 - Another nail biter, but Chicago continues to win - Final Score: Chicago 5 - Virginia 4
Game #4 - Max Scherzer 10-10  5.17 picks up the win for VirginiaAramis Ramirez has 2 HR's and 4 RBI's.  Final Score: Virginia 5 - Chicago 4
Game #5 - John Danks improves to 9-8  3.67 - as The Sluggers prevail for thier second win in a row.  Final Score: Virginia 3 - Chicago 2
Game #6 - The Sluggers to just that, Vladimir Guerreo hits a Gran Slam, and Michael Bourn has 3 hits.  Final Score: Virginia 8 - Chicago 5

Iron City @ Tempe - Iron City won the first game in extra innings and then dropped the next five games to Tempe. The bats didn't show up for Iron City.

G1 - A sac fly by Callaspo in the 10th gave Iron City the lead and Cordero pitched the final two innings for the win. IRN 3-2
G2 - Cain shines over the Freak. TEM 6-1
G3 - Granderson hit a two run HR and McCarthy went 7 innings. TEM 5-1
G4 - Cargo and Callaspo solo and Hanson strikeouts 10 in seven innings... but the pen surrenders six runs in the 8th capped by Beltre's 2nd HR of the game. TEM 8-3
G5 - Cain pitched five solid innings and Tempe's pen was perfect. Tulo solo HR TEM 5-1
G6 - Beltre and Cabrera homered and Stauffer went to the distance to improve to 16-0. TEM 5-2
 
Sacramento @ Bay State - No News or FILE out of Baystate.
 
West Coast @ Clovis - The West Coast Swing swing (couldn't resist!) into town for a six gamer with the Clovis Wheat Kings.

The Wheat Kings took the first two games of the set and things were looking good but the Swing led by Mark Trumbo's three home runs came storming back and took the final four games for a 4-2 series win.
 
Valdosta @ Motor City - Valdosta takes home 5 wins out of 6.

Roseville @ Jersey - It started out bad for the home team Nor'easters losing the first 4 games of the series scoring only 7 total runs. Jersey won game 5 and then the highlight of the year for Jersey as Johnny Cueto pitches Jersey's first franchise no-hitter and wins 1-0.
 
Long Beach  @ Owensboro - OWENSBORO ONSLAUGHT TAKE SERIES 5-1 FROM DIRT BAGS
TO SOLIDIFY FIRST PLACE POSITION in NL EAST

The Owensboro Onslaught team held a Press Conference to announce the sale of the team to a New York based owner. Upon completion of the Conference, the Onslaught proceeded to win 5 of 6 games from the Dirt Bags.

Berkman (3/4, 2 RBI, HR); Napoli ( 3/5), and Hughes (3/4 3rbi) led the charge for the Onslaught.

My first series was fun............its nice to be in such a large League where a lot of players that I had probably forgotten about are everyday players!
Took a bit getting used to as expected when taking over someone elses team. I'm sure it will get smoother to more I play and become familiar with the Onslaught roster.
