Fremont @ Tijuana - Fremont makes the trip south of the border this week as they visit Tijuana for a 6 game series this weekend.

Game1
Peavy vs Oswalt....both pitcher go 8 innings Peavy allows 2 runs against Roy's 4. Gonzalez nails it down in the 9th for his 15th save. Game 1 to the home team 4-2.

Game2
Trailing 6-2 Tijuana pounds out 7 runs in the bottom of the 5th. The game goes scoreless the rest of the way. M. Gonzalez pitches the 9th for his 16th save.

Game3
R. Johnson leaves after 7 up 3-1 but "Stupid" Scott Feldman as he will be called from now on allows 4 runs in the 8th to blow the win for The Big Unit. Fremont takes it 6-3.

Game4
D. Cabrera throws 7 strong and S. Hatteberg hits a 2 run homer to lead The Bottle Rockets to victory. M. Gonzalez picks up his 17th save on the season. Tijuana 3 Fremont 1

Game5
T. Lilly is effectively wild as he allows 6 walks in 8 innings but only allows 3 runs. Tijuana starter J. Lieber was let down by his defense as
2 errors lead to 4 unearned runs. The Cannons bullpen tried to make it interesting but Fremont takes this one 7-5.

Game6
P. Fielder hits the go ahead 2 run homer off R. Oswalt in the 6th and Tijuana would hold on for the win handing Roy his 2nd loss of the series. M. Gonzalez picks up his 19th save of the year. Bottle Rockets take it 5-3

Close close series as every game was decided by 3 runs or less. Some timely hitting by the home team enables them to take the series 4 games to 2.

Game 4: Kentucky 9 Camarillo 5 - Glaus hits 17th homer and drives in 3.

Game 5: Camarillo 5 Kentucky 4 - Jennings goes to 7-1 and Wickman notches 10th save.

Game 6: Camarillo 4 Kentucky 2 - Gary Matthews drives in 3 and Wickman gets 11th save.
 
Topeka @ Midland - Topeka comes to town and takes 4 of 6 from Midland.

Game 1: Jeremy Sowers makes his MWBL debut and goes a strong 7 innings giving up 1 run on six hits. Lackey has a good outing, but a couple of errors cost him an unearned run and the game. Midland 2 Topeka 1.

Game 2: Jermaine Dye leads the way with a HR and 3 RBIs as Topeka takes game two, 5 to 3. Young gets the win and the save goes to Meredith.

Game 3: Jose Valentin gets a pair of 2bs and knocks in the winning run in the 8th. Fossum goes a strong 8 innings and Meredith picks up another save.

Game 4: Damian Miller has a big day with a homer and 4 RBIs to pace Topeka to a 6-5 win. Thompson gets the win and Meredith picks the save.

Game 5: Clay Hensley continues his hot start and Casey Blake provides all the offense needed with a 2 run HR as Midland takes it 4-1.

Game 6: Dye and Ordonez each get 3 hits to lead Topeka to the easy 9-1 victory. Dye drives in 5 and Lackey goes a strong 8.
 
 
Iron City @ Garden City - The Yinzers came into Garden City and played hard.
The Gangstas manage to win 4 by taking a 15 inning struggle in sixth game. Gangstas win series 4-2
 
Northridge @ New River - Northridge takes 4 out of 6 from New River.
 
Los Angeles @ Ann Arbor - Riots at Bluebirds

Game 1
Pujols led the game off with a solo jack and the Riots cruised to an easy 5-1 win behind R. Tejeda (1-2).

Game 2
Noah Lowry earned his 4th win of the year (4-0) as the Riots banged out 14 hits on their way to a 7-3 win. Carlos Lee belted his 11th homer of the year for the Riots.

Game 3
Josh Towers evened his record at 2-2 as the first four batters in the Bluebirds lineup went 2 for 4 including dingers by Mora (7) and Victor Martinez (4). Jason Schmidt was rocked for 6 runs in 6 IP as LA lost 6-3.

Game 4
Kenny Rogers and two relievers combined to shut out the Bluebirds 1-0 as Trot Nixon's rbi single in the 4th was the only run of the game. Saarloos (4-4) had to suffer the tough loss.

Game 5
A pair of Pujols homers (22) spearheaded a 16 hit attack as LA rolled over Ann Arbor 16-2.

Game 6
For the 2nd time in the series Albert Pujols led the game off with a homer but Jason Marquis was tough enough (8.2 IP/3 runs) the rest of the way as Ann Arbor got a homer from Garko (5) and two from Mora (9) as they cruised to an 8-3 win.
 
 
Tempe @ Toad Hollow - Tempe flexed is muscles against the Toad Hollow Predators Hunted, taking four of six.

Game 1: TEM 1, THP 3

Moises Alou hit a jack in the second to get Tempe an early lead, but the Tempers were unable to score off of Esteban Loaiza again, as Pedro Feliz (solo HR), Cesar Izturis (RBI 2B) and Matt Kemp (RBI 1B) all contributed to Toad Hollow's scoring.

Game 2: TEM 3, THP 2

Scott Youman and Sean Hill lock horns in a pitching duel? Moises Alou came up big with a 2-RBI double that sealed the deal for Tempe.

Game 3: TEM 6, THP 4

The top three hitters in Tempe's lineup – Reed Johnson, Michael Young, and Manny Ramirez – combined for 15 of the Tempers' total bases, as Toad Hollow starter Mark Hendrickson gave up four runs in the 7th inning to let the game slip away.

Game 4: TEM 5, THP 0

Tempe's Moises Alou and Paul Konerko hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning, an early indication that Toad Hollow was about to lose back-to-back-to-back games.

Game 5: TEM 4, THP 3

The Tempers put up a three spot in the 6th inning to tie the game and scored again in the 7th, as their bullpen put together four scoreless innings, allowing the team to win by one against Toad Hollow ace Dan Haren.
