Virginia @ Chicago - The Virginia Sluggers came to the Windy City for this weeks series.

Game #1 – Josh Beckett gets the victory with his 12th victory as Chicago Wins 3-1.
Game #2 – Derek Jeter goes 4 for 5 and Francisco Liriano goes 6 Innings picking up the win. Chicago 10 – Virginia 2.
Game #3 – Andy Petttitte goes seven strong and Virginia picks up it’s lone victory by the score of 9 to 4.
Game #4 – Barry Bonds homers, and Chicago runs wild stealing 9 bases in the game. Final score Chicago 5 – Virginia 4.
Game #5 - C.C. Sabathia improved to 16-4 with a 3.62 with a game 5 shutout that was need to rest some arms in the Mobsters Bullpen.
Game #6 – Vladimir Guerrero hits a Grand Slam to put Virginia up 4-0, but the Mobsters storm back with 5 of their own in the 6th, Barry Bonds Homers twice, Barry Zito picks up his 14th Victory, and Billy Wagner closes the door for his 35 save of the year.

After an off day Chicago heads to Tijuana to play the inter-division rival Bottle Rockets, while Virginia heads home to take on the Crushers from Coconut Creek.
 
Tijuana @ Coconut Creek -  CCC wins tight one-run victories in games 1, 2 and 5. TIJ wins blowouts in games 3 and 4.   In game-6 the Crushers offense finally breaks out for 15 runs to clinch the series 4-2.    Ryan Howard makes a good bid for his 2nd consecutive player of the week award.
 
Kentucky @ Toad Hollow - Kentucky Sweeps.
 
Tempe @ Midland - Midland and Tempe split.

Game 1: Harang gets a complete game 5 hitter and Drew knocks in 3 with 2 hits including a HR as Midland takes the opener 6-2.

Game 2: Beltran and Blake go deep and Matt Cain scatters 5 hits over 7 innings to pace Midland to a 7-2 win. Reed Johnson goes deep for Tempers.

Game 3: Clemens scatters 8 hits over 7 innings and Reed Johnson provides all the offense as Tempe takes this one 2-1.

Game 4: Sowers goes 7 only allowing 4 hits and Midland wins 3-2. Konerko smacks a 2 run dinger for all of Tempe's runs. Roberts gets 3 hits for Midland and the GW RBI.

Game 5: Pedro gets a CG 4 hitter to lead Tempe to a 3-1 win. Alou paces the offense with a 2 run HR.

Game 6: Manny cracks a HR in the top of the 14th to give Tempe the finale.
 
Northridge @ Ann Arbor - Northridge sweeps the series. Series highlights:

Game 1: Quakes score 6 runs in the last 3 innings to win 7-4.
Game 2: Dunn strokes his 22nd homer of the year.
Game 3: Dunn belts #23. Cano doubles, triples, and homers for Quakes.
Game 4: Wang CG shutout.
Game 5: Dunn #24.
Game 6: Quakes rake Bluebird pitching for 6 runs in the last 3 innings to win 9-6.
 
Iron City New River -  Iron City takes 4 out of 6 from New River.
 
Camarillo @ Topeka - Topeka takes 4 of 6 from Camarillo.
 
Garden City @  Los Angeles - The Riots take 5 of 6 from Garden City, pulling out some lucky wins.
