Buffalo @ Chicago - Chicago took on Buffalo this week and the Braves manage to take only 2 of 6 from the Mobsters
 
Tijuana @ Fremont - Fremont drops the series 4-2 to Tijuana. Highlights include two one-hitters- Roy Oswalt's second career no-hitter, as Adrian Beltre doubles with 2 out in the seventh; and Cody Ross leads off with a double in the sixth to break up Daniel Cabrera's no-no.
 
Canton @ Coconut Creek - Apparently the Crusher's weakness is a sinkerball. Aaron Cook and his 5+ ERA beats us twice.

Other series highlights are Ervin Santana's complete game 3-hit shutout, Anibal Sanchez and 2 relievers combining on a 2-hit shutout and Garret Atkins hitting an extra-inning walk-off homer.

When all was said and done the Crushers took the series 4-2.
 
Hollywood @ Yonge Street - Hollywood vists Yonge Street

Gm1) 6 scoreless from Halladay, backed up by D. Wrights 3 run HR, and Freels double and a HR. Gomes also homered. Yadier Molina drove in one of Hollywoods 2 runs...probably on a ground out, or something lame like that.

Gm2) A travesty. Somehow HOL pulls it out in the 11th. I'm sickened that I lost this game. D. Bell injured for 5 games for HOL, and Jonny Gomes injured for 8 for YSS.

Gm3) Kazmir gave up 2 in the first, then settled down to K 10 in his 7 innings. David Wright committed his 4th error of the series. De la Rosa falls to 1-11.

Gm4) Hey...a 3 run HR from Wright is more than enough. Carpenter pitched well. Nolasco falls to 1-14.

Gm5) Un-freakin-believable. Hollywoods "ace" went all Cy Young on me. Wandy Rodriguez went 8 strong, gave up only 2 ER, and struck out 11 Stalkers. Kinslers 3 run HR was plenty.

Garden City @ Iron City - Garden City comes in and sweeps Iron City, though 2 games went extra frames. Is there a moral victory column in the standings?
 
New River @ Northridge - Northridge takes 4 out of 6 from New River.
 
Ann Arbor @ Los Angeles - The Riots take 5 of 6 from Ann Arbor. In LA's only loss, the League's winningest pitcher, Jason Schmidt, gives up 4 runs in 5.1 innings and is injured for 11 games - just enough to miss the entire series with the dreaded Tempers!
 
Toad Hollow @ Tempe - Tempe takes 4 of 6 against Toad Hollow.
