Chicago @ Hollywood - Hollywood wins games 1 & 2, but that’s it

Game 1: Craig Monroe stars with (2) 2-run HRs tailing 6 RBIs and Hollywood’s bullpen somehow holds to preserve Jered Weaver’s 7th win (7-6)
Game 2: Bonds makes a critical error in the 8th which allows Hollywood to tie the game at 2. It proved costly cause Monroe gets the game winning double off Billy Wagner in the bottom of the 9th to win 3-2.
Game 3: With the 2 young guns out of the way, Chicago begins to batter Hollywood pitching, however Hollywood batters young Cole Hamels, knocking him out in the second inning. Chicago wins in a blowout 13-7
Game 4: Chicago pounds Hollywood early again to win 13-3
Game 5: Sabathia and Wandy Rodriguez lock up in a pitchers duel, and Sabathia comes out a victor for Chicago, 4-1
Game 6: Chicago scores 1 in the first which proved enough as Hollywood could not score in the 4-0 loss.
 
Fremont @ Virginia - Fremont leaves Virginia with a 4-2 series win.
 
Yonge Street @ Elyria - Elyria splits with Younge Street.
 
Severn @ Tijuana - Tijuana takes the Series from Severn 4-2.
 
Canton @ Detroit - Canton takes series over Detroit 4-2.

Tempe takes advantage of a Hanley Ramirez error to score 5 runs in the 5th (four are unearned). Griffey hits a three run homer. Hanley has a homer and four RBI but its too little too late.

Game 2
TEM 1 KEN 5
Derek Lowe pitches seven strong innings, and Hanley Ramirez, Ryan Theriot and Jorge Posada go deep for Kentucky. Junior hits another for Tempe. Jason Giambi is injured for 7 games.

Game 3
TEM 6 KEN 3
Tempe scores three unearned runs in the 7th inning to take the lead 4-3. Reed Johnson goes deep for the games only home run.

Game 4
TEM 3 KEN 1
This game hurts more than any other this season. Mike Mussina has a no hitter broken up in the 7th inning by a Paul Konerko home run. Kentucky manufactures a run in the botton of 7 to tie it up 1-1. Mussina walks Konerko and Junior hits his third home run of the series to win the game 3-2. Mussina goes 9 strong innings giving up 2 runs.

Game 5

All the fireworks occur before the 6th inning in this one. Kentucky overcomes 3 errors in this one, while Glaus provides the knock-out home run plating his 105th and 106th RBI of the season.

Game 6
TEM 2 KEN 3
Kentucky comes from behind in this one to pull the series even 3-3. In the 7th inning, Griffey goes deep to give Tempe a 2-0 lead. Brett Myers had a no hitter broken up in the bottom of the 8th inning on a Jeff DaVanon pinch hit single. Myers gives up a hit to Ichiro and is pulled from the game. DaVanon scores on a Hanley Ramirez RBI double hit off of Scot Shields. A Luke Scott single follows, scoring Ramirez and Ichiro.

The series nearly saw two no hitters, as Mussina and Myers are both screwed out of victories even though pitching lights out.
 
 Iron City @ Camarillo - Game 1: Camarillo 2 Iron City 0 - Jason Jennings leaves the game after 3 innings with an injury, however four other Camarillo pitchers combined on the shutout.

Game 2: Camarillo 10 Iron City 5 - Iron City jumped out to a 3-run lead, but Camarillo pounded four homers to come back and win the game. Matt Stairs hit his 1st of the year, but his 216th of his career.

Game 3: Camarillo 1 Iron City 0 - Jeff Suppan evened his record at 8-8 with the 4-hit shutout.

Game 4: Iron City 4 Camarillo 2 - Aaron Sele evened his record at 8-8 with 5 2/3 innings of work.

Game 5: Camarillo 6 Iron City 5 - Down 5 to 1 in the 6th inning, Camarillo came back, scoring 1 run in each of the last 4 innings to tie the game. Camarillo won the game in the 11th.

Game 6: Camarillo 6 Iron City 4 - Matt Morris picks up a rare victory - improving to 3-11 on the year.
 
Northridge @ Garden City - Gantas take 5 of 6 from visiting Northridge.
 
Ann Arbor @ New River - New River takes 4 out of 6 games from Ann Arbor.
 
Los Angeles @ Midland  - LA comes to town and takes 4 of 6 from Midland including 2 1-0 games.

Game 1: Washburn and Harang each go 6 innings giving up 5 hits, but the Riots get 1 run and the bullpens shut it down. LA 1 MID 0.

Game 2: Midland ties it with 1 in the 9th and wins it in the 11th. Crain gets the win in relief. Ibanez goes deep twice for LA and Beltran and Hunter touch em all for Midland. MID 6 LA 5.

Game 3: Midland gets 2 in the bottom of the 8th to pull out a 7-5 win. Blake and Crede get HRs for Midland and Bay gets one for LA. Crain picks up another win in relief.

Game 4: LA gets 2 in the 9th to win the game 5-3. Proctor gets the win and Otsuka the save. HRs from Pena and Roberts.

Game 5: Another close one as LA squeaks out a 3-2 win. Schmidt gets the win and Wuertz picks up the save.

Game 6: In a rematch of Game 1 Washburn outduels Harang again as LA takes the finale 1-0.
