YSS 8 VIR 3 Gm 3) Halladay pitches well enough to get his 10th win. The Stalkers pull out the win playing small ball, with just 1 extra base hit. YSS 5 VIR 4 Gm 4) Jim Thome homered, and O. Hudson Homered & doubled to lead the Sluggers to victory. Freddy Garcia picked up win # 9. VIR 6 YSS 4 Gm 5) J. Vazquez goes the distance and shuts out the potent Stalker lineup. 9 IP, 4H, 1BB, 9K. head hunting. They knocked out Escobar (14 days), the Big Hurt (9
days) and Russ Johnson (5 days). G1 - Mathews starts the Quest off with a 3 run hr. Tracy adds two more homeruns as Camarillo cruises. 12–2 Quest G2 - Tempe gets revenge pounding out 15 runs. Quest avoided the shutout with 1 run in the 9th. 15–1 Tempers G3 – Tempe gets on the board with a 2 run hr by Manny. Uribe ties it up for Camarillo with his own two run hr, but Tempe responds with a two run base hit by Konerko to break the 2-2 tie. 4-2 Tempers G4 – Rowand puts a 3-2 game out of reach with a grand slam. 8-2 Tempers G5 - Two out double by Young scores Quinlan from 1B in the bottom of the 9th. 5-4 Tempers G6 – Arroyo throws a complete game shutout to pickup his 12th win at the break. 2–0 Tempers |
