JIM PALMER GOES NUMBER ONE TO ROSELAND

Draft Central —  Detroit, Michigan  – The Roseland Renegades went out and got their future ace as they call him.   With the first pick of the 1970 Mid-West Winter League Draft the Roseland Renegades selected right handed starting pitcher, out of the Baltimore Orioles system Jim Palmer.   Palmer is expected to have a long career ahead of him.  He has a live arm, a great fastball, and a live arm.   Palmer is expected to become one of the MWWL most dominating starters in the next few years, and could eventually be the MWWL all time Wins leader when he hangs them up.   Roseland Renegades General Manager said “I think we made the best choice we could have”.   Look for Palmer to rack up a few No-Hitters, as well as a few strike-out titles along the way, and maybe even be the opening day starter for a few years..
