1997 OPENING DAY

Mid-West Winter League Opening Day, (The 28th, in Mid-West Winter League History). 

Flossmoor is once again the favorite in the ALE, no one should come close in this division. 

Chicago, Detroit & Harper Woods will battle it out for the ALC.   

California should win the ALW, but Castle Rock will give them some trouble along the way. 

A showdown between any of the above-mentioned teams will battle for the American League Championship. 

Steel City, Manhattan & Hampton should battle it out for the NLE.

Sugar Land, Michigan & Valdosta will beat each other up in the NLC. 

Long Beach, Winnipeg & Blarney Drive will battle for the NLW.   

Any one of the aforementioned teams can walk away with the National League Championship. 

It’s going to be a great season in the Mid-West Winter League & it all starts NOW!
