HarperWoodsExposTodd Helton could spend the next 17 years annihilating Mid-West Winter League pitching. “He was so impressive,” said Harper Woods Expos General Manager Jamie Campbell, “I mean he’s no Mike McKibbon or Kevin Manquen, but he’s going to be an Expo for a long time” Helton can use all fields, with power, was kind of a throwback hitter were looking for here on the Expos.

Helton who is no slouch on defense will anchor the first base job for the Expos for quite some time. Veteran Wally Joyner will have the job of teaching the up & coming first baseman all the tricks around the bag will undoubtedly relinquish his job soon. “I’ll hand off my sack to Helton in hopes that he can play with it like I did”. said Joyner.

Helton was quoted as saying “I look forward to being an Expo for quite some time, hopefully, General Manager Campbell doesn’t screw this up”.
