1995 MWWL AWARDS

Corktown’s Albert Belle won the Most Valuable Player in the American League & Tino Martinez of Manhattan won the National League’s Most Valuable Player Award.

Flossmoor’s Greg Maddux won his 2nd straight American League Cy Young as did Blarney Drive’s Randy Johnson in the National League, the 2nd straight for him as well.

Fort Worth’s Hideo Nomo won the American League Rookie of the Year & Shawn Green of Blarney Drive won the National League Rookie of the Year.

Fort Worth’s Mike Henneman won the American League Rolaids Reliever of the Year & Rick Aguilera of Santa Rosa won the National League Rolaids Reliever of the Year Award & then got released.

World Series Winning Manager Pat Vukelich took home the Manager of the Year Award in the National League for the Blarney Drive Bandits & Sergio Ivone & his Wild Card to World Series Detroit Stars took the honors in the American League.
