Game #1: | Randy Johnson pitched great but was removed after 6 shutout innings because of an injury for Blarney. Candioti’s knuckle ball was great too 1 run in 7 innings. Ventura tied the game in the 7th with a homer and it stayed that way until the 11th, both teams scored in the 11th so it was tied 2-2 in the 12th. In the 13th again with a run, but Winnipeg came back after Smith with 2 runs. Winnipeg 4 Blarney 3 (12 innings) |
Game #2: | Winnipeg was up 4-1 int he 9th but Blarney came back off Shaw and Beck to tie the game. It went extras again but this time Winnipeg’s Segui hit a 3 run homer in the 10th off Myers. Winnipeg 7 Blarney 4 (10 innings) |
Game #3: | Winnipeg asked Schilling to save a tired pen and hold a 3-2 lead but he could not as Seitzer homers in the 10th. Blarney then won the game 4-3 in 10 innings. |
Game #4: | Again Blarney hits Winnipeg hard scoring two runs in the 9th off Beck to take a 4-3 lead. But int he bottom of the 9th Harris blows it as Winnipeg scored 2 runs to get a walk off win. Crazy close game but 3 games in a row of extra innings ends in a 9th inning walkoff. |
Game #5: | Greenwell has a monster game 2 triples and a homer driving in 4 runs. Amazing this game went 12 innings! Before Blarney scores 6 int he 12th to win 8-2 |

Game #7: | Amazing a game that was another 1 run game Winning and Schilling holds on to win 4-3. It did not go extra innings |
Series Summary: | Wow what an even series 5 extra inning games and two 1 run games!. Both teams scored 29 runs. Amazingly though the luck gods gave Winnipeg 5 wins to 2. |
