Missouri started off hot with a 5-1 lead after 1, when the Gas Hornets made it 5-4 after 3, the Black Bears got another in the 7th to go up 6-4. But a Carmelo Martinez PH 2 run homer (9) [pinch hit for Tino Martinez] ties it up in the 8th. The Black Bears needed to do something, and they did, they scored two runs off Jeff Robinson in the bottom of the 8th to win the game 8-6. Gross pitches the 9th for the save.
