Mexico City  Chihuahuas @ Fort Worth  Panthers
Preview
4th place in the AL West Mexico City visits 3rd place in the AL East Ft. Worth. Both teams like to run as they enter this series tied for first in the AL in steals at 36.
Game #1:
The Panther’s hit more homers than hits allowed – three to two. Wegman dominates and Kelly hits two homers.
Final Score: Panthers 5, Chihuahuas 0
Game #2:

Game #3:
Mexico City blows a 8 to 4 lead when the Panther’s score 4 in the 8th on a Sheffield pinch hit double and three run homer by Winfield. Seven Ft. Worth relievers kept the game tied until rookie catcher Pudge Rodriguez led off the bottom of the 15th, “The pitch … cut on … hit deep to left field … way back …  COLE is racing back it’s all over! … it’s long gone! … he got all of that one”
Final Score: Panthers 9, Chihuahuas 8
Game #4:
Melendez and a trio of Panther bullpen arms tame the Chihuahuas except for their big dog, Kevin Mitchell who provided all the Mexico City offense with 2 homers and 3 RBI. But the Ft. Worth’s 3,4,5, and 6 hitters were more impressive going 9 for 18 with one double and two homers driving in all the Panther runs.
Final Score: Panthers 6, Chihuahuas 3
Game #5: Abbott looked like he was going to pitch a complete game 4 hit shutout when he started the 9th, but a single by Donnie Baseball and a double by Gwynn put runners on 2nd and third with no outs in a 2-0 game.

Closer Mike Jackson entered the game – with a new theme song, wearing shades and strutted from 2nd base to the mound just like the dude wearing the white jacket in the video playing on video board.

telling the Chihuahuas to Beat it as he quickly retired the next three hitters.

The crowd loved it as many of them tried dancing like Michael Jackson. When asked about it after the game Mike Jackson said he was a big fan of Michael Jackson and may use a couple of the pop icons songs when he comes into the game.

Final Score: Panthers 2, Chihuahuas 0

Summary
Ft. Worth stays hot at home sweeping Mexico City. For the most part it was a competitive series and the Chihuahuas could have easily won three of the games.
