Skeeter erupt for 3 in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd to build a 5-0 lead Pasqua, Bell, and Quinones each get 2 rbis (Skeeter get another run in the 8th) and Biggio smack 3 singles. However, that wasn’t enough to win as Manhattan chips away for 3 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th, 1 to tie in the 6th and then 8 (EIGHT) in the 7th to win going away 13-6. Skeeters again jump out to quick lead with 2 in the 1st – Gibson goes 3 for 5 and scores twice. Pasqua HRs (1), Gibson homers later
(1). Frank White gets 2 run ph double in the 8th as the Skeeters again found themselves down. The 3 runs they scored in the 8th tied the game at 6-6, but Gas Hornets were able to plate one in the bottom of the 8th to take the lead 7-6. Strangely they had to score 4 in the 7th to get 6-3 lead (which they didn’t hold). Lilliquist vs. Leary – the double L’s. Doesn’t sound like much but after 9 innings it was 0-0 with each guy giving up 3 hits (and 3 walks). Leary stays in for the 10th and gets the Skeeters again. Greg A. Harris comes in and gives up a hit to Alfredo sauce Griffin. Huson pinch runs for him. Joyner PHs for Leary and with the H&R going, he smacks a double, scoring Huson and it’s all over. Harris

Life didn’t always disappoint for the Skeeters. After jumping up 2-0 in the 1st and seeing that lead evaporate in the bottom half, the Skeeters get 3 in the 4th, another in the 6th and 7th and 9th and the bullpen actually holds it together for an 8-3 win. The Titans broke open a close game in the 5th when Incaviglia hit a grand slam to increase the lead to 7-1. Fielder and Justice went back-to-back in the 6th to make the final 9-1. Tomlin went 6 strong innings to pick up the win.

Milt Thompson hit a 3 run HR in the 4th to give Missouri a 4-1 lead. They hung on from there with Patterson getting Fielder to end the
