Both Bergman and Perry get big pinch hits while Glenn Wilson has another nice game. For Michigan, Matt Nokes has a 2 homer and 6 RBI game get wasted.

Game #4:

Whitson vs. Tanana.
Michigan gets a lot of runs and hits early and wins the game easily. Webster, Hall, and Ripken all hit homers for the Marauders. Glenn Wilson hits another homer for Winnipeg.

Game #5:

Moyer vs. Higuera
This game was similar to some others early in the series. Michigan takes an early lead, and Winnipeg comes back on Michigan’s heels. Michigan lead early, 3-0, and Winnipeg scores 2. Then, Michigan scores 2 in the 7th. In the 8th, Wilson and Valle hit back to back homers. But, Henneman comes on in the 9th to save the game.
Glenn Davis has 3 hits and 1 homer.

Stockton jumps out to an early lead but can’t hold it. Duncan’s three-run HR gives Montana a lead, but Tettleton’s Grand Slam in the 8th wins it for Stockton.

Once again, Stockton can’t hold a lead, but come back to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth on a 2-run double by Larkin. After Stockton gets three runners cut down at the plate in extra innings, the Cutthroats get an RBI double in the 12th by Kevin Seitzer.
