Stockton 6 Cedar Park 1 |
Game #2: |
The Bears stake Boddicker (4-5, 6.47) to a 4 run 1st inning lead, but the Wings chipped away with HRs by Chili Davis, Camelo Martinez and Bill Madlock to cut the lead to one. Steve Trout (1-2, 7.32) started for the Wings and he settled down until the 6th when the Bears rallied for two more handing Boddicker a 6-3 lead going into the 9th. Boddicker allowed the 1st two batters to reach before the Bears went to their bullpen and gave the ball to Chuck Crim. He faced Bill Madlock (.364), who promptly HRd to tie the game. The Wings rallied for a run in the 11th to come from behind. |
