The player list is located along the left hand side of your screen. From this list, you can choose what players information you wish to view. To select the player of your choice, simply find their name on the list, either by scrolling through or using the search bar conveniently placed above the list. Once you have found your player, all you need to do is click on their name to view their career history.
If you feel like the page is taking a long time to load, look at the bottom of the player list, and you will see a loading indicator. The player list is quite large, so this indicator will let you know when work is being done.
The Player Information tab section also has a loading indicator similar to the status bar at the bottom of the player list. This one notifies you when we are fetching data about the player you have selected from the player list.
If you see that the search bar above the player list doesn't look like it is in the right place, you are probably using Internet Explorer. The MWWL Player Career Database recommends using Firefox (Click Here) in order to get the best possible experience.
After you have selected a player from the player list, their information will load into the tabs in the center of the screen. From here, you can view almost anything that your player has done throughout their career.

Player Info: This tab contains information such as the players current team, their position, and other basic information. This tab also displays any awards that a player has won.


Batting Stats: This tab contains the players batting stats for their career. When you first open this tab, you will be presented with their regular season statistics. You can expand their statistics from the playoffs and all-star games by clicking on the segment title you wish to see.


Pitching Stats: This tab contains the players pitching stats for their career. The segments operate the same way as they do inside batting stats.


Fielding Stats: This tab contains the players fielding stats for their career. The segments operate the same way as they do inside batting stats.


Draft History: This tab contains a players history in the draft. Information about when they have been drafted, and by who, will be available here.


Trade History: This tab contains the history of a players trades. Information about when they have been traded, who gave them up, and where they went, will be available here.

Once you have selected a player and are viewing their statistics, there are a few new features that you should notice.
If you're wondering why you can only see a players regular season stats, you should know that all you need to do in order to see their other segments is click on the title of the segment that you want to view. You can open as many of these at a time as you want, we just minimized them for you to reduce clutter.
Another one of the cool new features of the MWWL Player Career Database is that the statistics are now sortable. This means that you can see when a player had their best years, or if they are on a decline. All you need to do is click on the header for the statistic that you want to sort by, and the grid will re-order itself for you.
One you have selected a player, there are a couple of new features that you may not have seen before. The MWWL Player Career Database includes information about a players past draft and trade history in addition to regular statistics. The "Draft History" tab displays information about when a player has been drafted and who got to them first. The "Trade History" tab includes all of the deals that a player has been involved in.
At first glance, on the trades tab, you will only see the players most recent transaction. However, all of the others are available to you, simply by clicking on the title of the transaction that you wish to see.
Finally, if you want to jump directly from the current players page, to another player that was part of a trade, just double click on the players name that you want to jump to and click 'yes' to confirm.
