Hampton Blizzard
Weekly Preview:
For the 4th straight week Hampton has itself a quiet home week with only one game to host. This week the Blizzard play host to the Brentwood Bandits who have the distinction of skating one of my favorite hockey players – Evgeni Malkin.
Game #1: Carey Price was between the pipes for Hampton with Marc-Andre Fleury doing the dirty work for Brentwood in what turned out to be a less than pretty game for anyone using (or trying to use) a blocker or trapper. Mike Ribeiro, who drew the scorn of several team owners when he was picked up in the auction for $3, scored his 2nd of the year on a 3-on-2 rush five minutes into the game after a messy mid-ice exchange by Brad Boyes to give Hampton the early lead. Despite the warnings of team coaches Price opted to wear his new experimental superball rubber goalie pads and the results were immediate. Brentwood’s Sven Baertschi slapshot high atop one faceoff
circle ricocheted off Price’s springy leg warmers right out to the other faceoff circle where P.A. (Public Address?) Parenteau made no mistake blasting it past the extremely out of position Hampton netminder to even the score at around the 12 minute mark of the 1st period. It was PA’s 3rd of the season.
That broke open the damn dam and before the period was out Mr. Awesome (Malkin) finished off a beautifully executed 3-on-2 with Sid the Kid and old man Patrick Marleau for his 6th tally of the year to give Brentwood a 2-1 edge heading into the 2nd period.
The first half of the second frame was all Brentwood with some nice end-to-end rushes and several 3-on-2 breaks that paid off for Vernon Fiddler and Kevin Bieksa with the Fiddler connecting on a snap shot one-timer from the slot after a beautiful centering pass from Biekska who was skulking behind the net. It was Fiddler’s 8th of the year … yikes! Nice.
Like I said, the first half of the period was all Brentwood with them pounding any Hampton skater too stupid to hang onto the puck and outshooting Hampton 5-1 and out-hitting them 8-2 in that time span. The aggressive forechecking cost the Bandits though as team captain Crosby was hauled off for hauling down poor innocent Andrew Shaw who wouldn’t hurt a fly. The resulting power play was painful for Fleury who was jerked around like a yoyo from one side of the crease to the other
fending off a barrage of shots until eventually Patric Hornqvist flipped a puck top shelf past Fleury to make it 3-2 Brentwood. The game score recorded it as a power play goal at 12:17, but Crosby only went into the box at 10:08 so should have been out on bail 9 seconds before the goal.
Was it a power play goal or not? Who knows. All I know is it was Hornqvist’s 3rd of the year. A nasty cross-check by Marleau on Andrej Sekera a few minutes later put Marleau in the bin, but he was bailed early thanks to a blast from the point by Jake Gardiner that tied the game 3-3. The third period saw a total frenzy of action with very few stoppages and end-to-end play throughout. Each team registered 10 shots in the period, but the Hampton defenders were able to keep the Bandits from getting any more quality chances close in. Brentwood was not so lucky on defence as Andre Burkovsky broke the deadlock with a goal with just under five minutes to go on one of those 3-on-2 breaks. Tyler Myers drove the nail in the coffin with a shot from the blueline at 16:35 and Sekera added an empty netter for his 1st goal of the season to close out the game with Hampton coming out on top 6-3 and Ribeiro factoring into 4 of the six Hampton goals.FINAL – HAMPTON 6, BRENTWOOD 3SUMMARY

Minneapolis Deep Freeze
Weekly Preview:
Minneapolis gets set to take on 2 strong Atlantic Division opponents.
Game #1: Second City (0) @ Minneapolis (2)

Second City came out strong with 10 shots on goal in the opening period, but Minnepolis took a 2-0 lead on two goals less than a minute apart about halfway through the first and never looked back. Minneapolis would dominate the remainged of the game with 39 shots on goal in the remaining two periods, but couldn’t break through Rask again. The game would end in a 2-0 shutout victory for Neuvirth who finished the game with 24 saves.

Game #2: New Jersey (3) @ Minneapolis (4)

The Deep Freeze would add another goal to their lead in the 2nd period, entering the 3rd up 4-1. New Jersey came out motivated in the 3rd and kept the pressure on Minneapolis and cut the lead to 2 on a Powerplay goal from Skinner with about 4 minutes to go. Wingels would net his first goal of the year to bring it within 1 with 1
minute to play and the Grizzlies net empty. New Jersey would keep Schneider on the bench, but the extra attacker wouldn’t be enough to get the tying goal and Minneapolis holds on to win 4-3.

Star 2: MIN Hoffman 1 G
Star 3: MIN Couturier 1 G

GWG: Sean Couturier

Notables: MIN Getzlaf 15-5 on faceoffs

Game #3: Minneapolis (5) @ IND (2)

Minneapolis gets their first road win of the year against the most unlikely of opponents, the league leading Indiana Sycamores.

Minneapolis opened the scoring on the first shot of the game, which would turn out to be the only goal of the 1st period. Entering the 2nd up 1-0, Minneapolis would add another on the powerplay with Doan’s second of the game. Indiana bounced right back, getting their first goal not even two minutes later to bring the score to 2-1. Indiana evened the score 3:36 into the 3rd period and seemed to have Minneapolis on their heels until Foligno took an ill-advised 5 minute major for cross-checking. Minneapolis would dominate the ensueing Powerplay, breaking the tie with Hossa’s goal almost 4 minutes in. The powerplay would end without any further damage, but Minneapolis kept the pressure on and Sedin and Brassard added 2 more goals for the Deep Freeze en-route to the 5-2 victory.

Star 1: MIN Doan 2 G
Star 2: MIN Hossa 1 G
Star 3: MIN Sedin 1 G

GWG: Marian Hossa

Jagr Mullets
Weekly Preview:
Jagr hosts Ripon and Chicago this week.
Game #1:
The most frustrating game of the year for the Mullets.
Jagr drops the game 1-0, as they couldn’t generate any offense against G Domingue. Matt Murray is a hard-luck loser, allowing only 1 goal while making 32 saves (which was scored on a delayed penalty).
The Mullets dug their own grave by taking 6 minor penalties to Ripon’s 1.
Game #2: This game was equally frustrating, as Mike Condon stood on his head and made FORTY ONE saves for Chicago! Fortunately for the Mullets, Matt Muray stood tall, making 23 saves and only allowing a late goal to Copp (4) at 13:50 of the 3rd. Jagr answered right back, as Stamkos potted his 10th at 15:34 to tie it up.
The Mullets take a hooking penalty at 19:17 of the 3rd to gift wrap an OT PP for Chicago. But never deny the power of the mullet… the Jagr D answers the call and forces the shootout.  Pavelski and Stamkos both tickle the twine while Murray denies the first two Chicago stakers and the Mullets take the game 2-1.
Weekly Summary:
Even with a 1-1 split, head coach Ivan Hlinka erupts in the locker room and promises much pain in the next practice as the Mullet play in these two games was as stale as a half-consumed can of Natty Light at last week’s frat party.

Brentwood Bandits
Weekly Preview:
Brentwood is starting to figure things out. The team is getting loose in the locker room as well. They played a prank on Coach Tom Atkins this week after practice. Jokester Vern Fiddler placed a Silver Shamrock mask on Coach Atkin’s desk. Atkins took it in stride when he quoted his character in “Halloween III: Season of the Witch”
when he said “This place is a zoo!”Back to work… The Bandits hope to steal two at the comfy confines of The Hallow this week from opponents Thunder Bay and Scottsdale.
Game #1: Thunder Bay makes their way into Brentwood to try to knock the Bandits down a peg or two.In the nets are Reimer for Thunder Bay and Fleury for Brentwood.1st Period
Lots of back and forth but Brentwood is on fire. Reimer stands to the task as Brentwood out shoots Thunder Bay 15-8… but still no score to end the first.2nd Period
“Pretty Awesome” Parenteau gets the chance to play with Sid and Geno and he makes the most of it by netting his 3rd of the season with a nice re-direct on a shot by Ekman-Larsson 1:00 into the 2nd. Malkin also grabs his 13th assist. Bandits lead 1-0.At 10:03 Ekman-Larsson continues his early bid for the Norris Trophy as he scores on on a slapper from the point for his 5th of the season. Assists by Parenteau (12) and Crosby (10).The 2nd would end with Thunder bay out-shooting Brentwood 11-7, but Brentwood coming away with the lead at 2-0.3rd Period
Thunder Bay pushed and pressured. Mounting an impressive assault as they launched shots at Fleury, who was up to the task. With Thunder Bay pressing on the Power Play, somehow (out of position maybe?) “Charlie” Manson winds up with the puck on his stick and a free skate down the ice toward Reimer with a short-handed breakaway. Every squirrel gets a nut at some point and Manson fires glove side to score his 1st of the season! A shortie! Brentwood leads 3-0Funny thing is shortly after, Sid bares down on Reimer on a breakaway and is stoned with a brilliant sliding save! Weird how things happen sometimes, eh?Fleury was turning shots away left and right until Coyle wakes up Thunder Bay’s silent sticks by ripping a shot past Fleury off a rebound on a shot by Alex Go-Goligoski for his 2nd of the campaign. But that was it. Thunder Bay fired 12 shots at Fleury in the 3rd and was able to score only once as the Bandits go on to win 3-1.

1st Star – Ekman-Larsson 1G, 1A
2nd Star – Fleury 30 saves
3rd Star – Parenteau 1G, 1A

GWG – Ekman-Larsson

Game #2: Scottsdale comes to The Hallow as a near .500 team and wanting to establish themselves early in a very wild and entertaining game all the way down to the final seconds!1st Period Scottsdale may have been a little too aggressive to start with a tripping call on Colborne which cost them as Malkin buried his 6th of the season from the slot on a feed from Ekman-Larsson to give the Bandits the lead 1-0 on the PP.Nordstrom scores his 1st of the season on King Henrik at 13:42 on a pass from Boedker to tie the game 1-1.Nearly 3 minutes later Scottsdale takes the lead when Stepan scores his 6th as he dances around a defender and puts on the ritz to deke Lundqvist out of his jock and give Scottsdale a 2-1 lead.2nd Period
2:50 seconds in, “The Next Next One” Connor McDavid scores his 6th of the season, assisted by Jakub “get me out of Philly” Voracek.12 minutes later, Brentwood connects on the PP when “Port-Authority” Parenteau scores his 4th of the season assisted by Ekman-Larsson (12) and Malkin (14).A close game at 3-2. Things are about to heat up in the 3rd!3rd Period
1:58 into the 3rd Colborne (Identity) scores on a tip-in from Kane (9) and Stepan (8) to give Scottsdale a 2 goal lead at 4-29:39 – Baertschi cuts the lead in half as he nets his 4th of the season from Liles (8) and Lundqvist (3) — 3 assists for King Henrik already? And he is playing less than half the time. Interesting stat right there.Less than 2 minutes later Connor McDavid (of the Clan McDavid) scores his 2nd of the night and 7th of the season on the PP from Voracek (9) and Lucic (9) to take back the two goal lead 5-3Time is ticking away as Stepan (Out!) scores his 2nd of the night and 7th of the season (deja vu?) to take a seemingly insurmountable 6-3 lead with only 3:24 remaining.

Coach Tom Atkins fights with the idea of pulling his goalie because usually you just don’t do that down by 3, but with 1:05 left Bieksa scores his first of the season on a wrister from the point to make it 6-4.

Well… NOW you have to pull your goalie, right? Coach Atkins pulls Lundqvist in an attempt to score two goals in the last minute of play.

At 19:41 Evgeni “Eugene” Malkin scores his 2nd of the night and 7th of the season (uh… deja vu all over again!) assisted by Ekman-Larsson (13) and Sid Crosby (11) to pull within one goal.

A couple of key saves from Allen in the final seconds seals the deal for Scottsdale despite a very strong Bandit effort and they steal a victory from Brentwood 6-5.

Coach Tom Atkins not very happy about his team taking 7 penalties, but has to be pleased that they killed all but one of them. Still, this game could have easily seen Scottsdale scoring a couple more goals. “While the aggressive play is awesome, sometimes it comes back to bite you in the ass” said Coach Atkins, “We really need to learn to harness that energy in a more positive manner or we will be golfing quite early in the spring.”

Anyway, a very entertaining game all the way down to the final horn.

1st Star – Stepan 2G, 1A
2nd Star – McDavid 2G
3rd Star – Malkin 2G, 1A

Notables
Scottsdale – Kane 3 Assists
Brentwood – Ekman-Larsson 3 Assists

Allen saved 25 of 30 shots
Lundqvist saved 21 of 27 shots

Weekly Summary:
Brentwood goes 1-1 at home this week. The offense is there but their team defense still seems to be a question. GM Chris Niespodzianski had this to say “We have two starting goaltenders and are looking to shore up either our offense with another scoring forward, or our defense with one or two more solid defenders.”

New Jersey Grizzlies
Weekly Preview:
New Jersey looking to get in the mix for the top of division chasing Indiana by 3 points.
Game #1: Welcome to the Prudential Center where today New Jersey hosts the California Regulators. Midway thru the 1st Leo Komarov’s penalty proved costly as Dustin Byfuglien was able to get NJ the 1-0 lead. Byfuglien was the only scorer thru the first. New Jersey was still dominating the shots as they have been thru most the season so far. California was on the board but after a look by the officials Alexander Ovechkin’s goal was taken off the board which seems to deflate the spirits of the Regulators. New Jersey caught fire and was able to capitalize on get their second goal on the board by Kyle Okposo which was his 7th of the season. Thru two periods New Jersey leads 2-0 outshooting California 28-8. In the third Alex Chiasson has added his third of the season giving New Jersey a 3-0 lead. New Jersey added a insurance goal from Hampus Lindholm his 1st of the season. With a commanding lead Jacob Silfverberg was able to add one goal which cut the lead to 4-1. Brock Nelson scored his 5th but the final score was 4-2 New Jersey.Three Stars

1st- Kyle Okposo
2nd Jacob Silfverberg
3rd Brock Nelson

Game #2: New Jersey will host the 8-5 Hampton Blizzard as they take the ice here at the Prudential Center. Wow Hampton jumped all over New Jersey early in this game. Filip Forsberg was able to get the Blizzard the 1-0 lead with his 5th goal of the season. Hampton grabbed a late goal by Paul Statsny which was 2nd of the year, 2-0 Blizzard. After one period it was clear Hampton was here to play and really had New Jersey on its heels. In a move to spark his team New Jersey replaced Cory Schneider to start the second with Keith Kinkaid. Scott Stevens was looking to light the fire. In the second New Jersey was able to get some movement and got some quality shots on goal but nothing seemed to find the net. Still Hampton lead the game after the second period, 2-0. New Jersey finally gets on the board with a deflection goal by Tommy Wingels. It was the clapper by Dustin Byfuglien which Wingels deflected into the net to cut the lead to 2-1 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. New Jersey would not go into the night quietly. With under 30 seconds left Henrik Sedin and Viktor Arvidsson were able to get the puck to Byfuglien who was able to light the lamp for his 8th marker of the season and the game tying goal. Going into overtime the moment as real swung in the way of New Jersey. Viktor Arvidsson the man who has been the talk of the league was not able to net the goal but was crucial in getting this game to overtime. In OT it was Filip Forsberg off the opening possession that was able to give Hampton the game winning goal and propel the Blizzard to 3-2 victory. Scott Stevens was happy to see his team battle and get oh so close to getting 2 points tonight. Keith Kinkaid gave the team exactly what they needed at the point.Three Stars

1st- Filip Forsberg
2nd Paul Statsny
3rd Dustin Byfuglien

Weekly Summary:
New Jersey has pulled into a tie with its home games with Indiana, now lets see how the road match ups turn out.

Long Beach Ice Dogs
Weekly Preview:
Long Beach is in the middle of an offensive slump after losing all 4 games last week
Game #1:
Long Beach (9-7) hosts Columbus (7-9). Roussel opened the scoring with his 3rd 9 minutes into the game to give Long Beach a 1-0 lead. After killing a penalty Columbus tied it when McDonagh scored with 5 minutes left in the first. It was still 1-1 until Draisaitl gave the Ice Dogs a 2-1 lead 12 minutes into the 2nd. Columbus tied it when Stall stole the puck from Purcell and scored with 8 minutes left in the 3rd. The game went to OT and Columbus won 3-2 on a Kucherov goal 2 minutes into the extra period.
Game #2:
Brentwood travels down the 405 to play in Long Beach. The Ice Dogs opened the scoring in the first minute when Granlund scored on a breakaway after a Teravainen steal. It stayed that way until Marleau tipped in a Malkin shot with 4 minutes left in the 3rd period to tie it. Brentwood took the lead 2 minutes later on a Crosby goal. That’s how it ended
Weekly Summary:
Long Beach continued their offensive difficulties as they lose 2 low scoring games.

Bathgate Rangers
Weekly Preview:
Bathgate gets to host three games this week – Alamo, Ripon, and Lansing. Ripon comes in with the only winning record so the Rangers might have a chance at a win or maybe 2 this week. Offense has been OK – defense has been porous.
Game #1: Alamo comes out with there guns blazing and keep them firing for all three periods – Rangers have problems finding shots on goal in period 1 (6) and 3 (5) – but fire 12 shots at Lehner in the 12 period. Lehner stopped all 12, and all 6 in the 1st, but one of the 5 shots in the 3 period found the back of the net. Nathan Gerbe gets his 2nd goal of the season (assisted by Klingberg). Reason for no comments on the Alamo offense other than shots was that Rinne was 1 shot better than Lehner getting the shutout, his first of the year.

FINAL: Bathgate 1, Alamo 0
3 Stars: All Bathgate
1. Rinne, 29 saves, shutout
2. Gerbe 1 Goal
3. Klingberg 1 Assist

Game #2: Ripon checked in to MRG (Madison Round Garden) looking to break out over .500. They didn’t waste too much time – scoring 3 goals in the 1st period as they worked the power play for 2 goals. They had 5 PP chances as the Rangers were an aggressive and over eager bunch. The final penalty for Bathgate was a major, but Ripon couldn’t convert. Jenner was the big guy getting 2 even strength goals and Scheifele, also getting 2 goals, 1 PP 1 even strength. Domingue was strong, facing 35 shots and not giving up anything until midway through period 3 when he was up by 5 – he yields two quick goals, but it was too little, too late. Both teams fired 35 goals on net, 63 attempts for Ripon, 62 for Bathgate. Bathgate blocked 22 shots but Rinne needed way more help than that.

FINAL: Ripon 6, Bathgate 2
3 Stars: ALL from Ripon
1. Jenner 2 Goals, 3 Points
2. Scheifele 2 Goals
3. Pietrangelo 3 Assists

Game #3: Lansing and their green skate into MRG in hopes of a victory and a chance to turn around the results of the October 17th meeting at Lansing where the Rangers skated to a 2-1 victory.Fast and Furious was the Capitals attack. They fired 13 shots on goal in the 1st period and amassed a 2-0 lead. Ward started the scoring slipping a puck past Rinne 2:16 into the game. Rakell made it 2-0 before the 10 minute mark. Their defense limited the Rangers to 6 shots. But in the 2nd period they weren’t able to score and  their shot total dropped to 7 for the period. Bathgate got off 10 shots and at 17:21 into the period Klingberg got one past Dubnyk to cut the score to 2-1.In the 3rd period  Hamonic committed the 1st penalty of the game and Donskoi and the Rangers took advantage scoring a PP goal to tie it up. 17 seconds after that PP goals, Backstrom took the the 2nd Lansing penalty. And 16 seconds into the PP Karlsson scores to give Bathgate a 3-2 lead. Benn knocks one in at 17:53 to get an insurance goal and Bathgate gets the win.

FINAL: Bathgate 4 Lansing 2
3 Stars – All Bathgate
1. Benn 1 Goal, 3 Points
2. Klingberg 1 Goal, 2 Points
3. Donskio 1 Goal

Weekly Summary:
Bathgate had good week at home taking 2 of 3:
November 16 – Bathgate 1-0 over Alamo
November 17 – Ripon 6-2 over Bathgate
November 19 – Bathgate 4-2 over Lansing

Ripon Rockets
Weekly Preview:
Ripon is at .500 and trying to move up in the standings. Trailing Long Beach by two points and California by five entering the week.
Game #1:
Corktown opened the game with a fury and lit the lamp in the first minute. Ripon found its legs and tied the score 4 minutes later. Corktown score the next two goals and took a commanding 3-1 lead into the third. Ripon won each 5 minute section of the third scoring at the end of the first two knotting the game at 3 with 10 minutes
left. With Corktown on the powerplay, Scheifele scored his second of the game from Nurse to give the Rockets a 4-3 lead that they would not relinquish.
Ripon 4 Corktown 3
Game #2:
Ripon and Columbus both stood tall in the first and the period ended the way it began 0-0. Ripon then found the magic in the 4th minute of the second and put two home. J.T. Miller pulled Columbus within one by the end of the second. Ripon opened the scoring in the 3rd going up 3-1. Only to watch Columbus to score the next three goals
which Columbus rode to victory.
Columbus 4 Ripon 3
Weekly Summary:
The Rockets continue sputter and not being able to launch themselves into a better position.

Wausau Lumberjacks
Weekly Preview:
The Lumberjack will host Long Beach and Jagr. Looking to expand their first place lead in the central division. The blue collar Lumberjacks don’t have any player in the top 10 of any category. Yet by playing great defense we continue to win games staying in first place.
Game #1:
Wausau 3 Long Beach 1

Thunder Bay Nor’Westers
Weekly Preview:
Thunder Bay is playing .500 hockey. You might think the Nor’Wester’s fans would be upset, but you need to understand that living in Thunder Bay is all about disappointment and not reaching goals. We already have 18″ of snow on the ground and many families are still hunting Moose for meat to get thru the next 9 months of winter, so to them 50-50 is surviving and that’s what everybody does in Thunder Bay – Survive.
Game #1: Only 1 home game this week and Lakeland boys were greeted with snow and -2 Celsius. Thunder Bay opened the scoring when Zach Parise was sent to the Penalty box for hooking at 0:42 and Brayden McNabb playing in just his 3rd game of the season scores his 2nd goal. Danny DeKeyser follows with his 2nd goal of the season and the Nor’Westers are up 2-0. Lakeland’s Orlov’s goal closes the gap to 2-1 as the 1st period ends. The second period was tight defensive slug fest but neither team scored so we entered the 3rd period with Thunder Bay leading 2-1. Again a key penalty hurts the Flordia boays. Brent Seabrooke gets 2:00 for hooking and Jordan Eberle scores to give the Nor’Westers a 3-1 lead. The Flying Tigers rally as offensive leader Adam Henrique scores his 7th goal of the season, Thunder Bay closes the game out for another 1 goal victory.
Weekly Summary:
Special teams play has improved over the last 2 weeks and play level has been strong. It is hard to understand why we are always in 1 goal games. Like the city the hockey team is surviving to play another day.A look at the Great Lakes Hockey league and Thunder Bay’s top 3 prospects are of to good starts.
Center Pavel Zacha 11gp, 1g, 3a and playing @ 16/min/gm. Defenseman Nikita Zaitsev 12gp, 0g, 6a and playing @ 21/min/gm. Leftwing Jimmy Vesey 13gp, 6g, 4a and playing just 13/min/gm. The future looks bright.

Scottsdale X-Men
Weekly Preview:
After a long road trip, the X-Men were hoping to come home and get to a winning record by with a clean sweep of three tough competitors in Wasau, Chicago, and Lakeland.
Game #1: Pregame optimism filled the air in the Xavier Center, however optimism quickly turned to disgust as Wasau outshot Scottsdale in the 1st period 21-2. Yes, that is not a misprint, 21-2. All things considered, it could have been worse with the X-Men going into the locker room down 2-0. During the intermission players confessed to to some heavy partying in Old Town Scottsdale the night before. Needless to say coach Peter Stastny was none amused and tore them some new ones. The team responded the rest of the way outshooting Wasau 21-11 the rest of the way and playing an even 1-1 after that, but as the old adage goes, too little too late. Smitty managed to stop 22 of 23 X-Men shots, while Zucker, Nash, and Keith each registered a goal for Wasau.
Game #2:
X-Men looking to stop the bleeding called on a defensive game plan to to pull out a victory against Chicago. Scottsdale rose to the occasion allowing Chicago only 27 shots on goal while backup goalie Jacob Markstrom stopped all but 2 of them. The X-Men’s Evander Kane shouldered the offensive load getting off 4 shots, and finishing with a goal and an assist. While the final score of 3-2 gives the impression of a close game, the X-Men dominated the 1st and 3rd period outshooting Chicago 30-16 in those 2 periods.
Game #3:
After getting a home victory behind their backup goalie, the X-Men were hoping get back to back home wins behind their starter. The problem was Lakeland’s Jonathan Quick had other plans. Making 33 saves on 35 shots, Quick prevented the X-Men from getting anything going. Fueled offensively by the powerhouse tandem of Adam Henrique and Matt Beleskey getting a goal and assist each, Lakeland coasted to a 4-2 win over the struggling X-Men.
Weekly Summary:
A discouraging 1-2 homestead for Scottsdale, Coach Peter Stastny has some serious work ahead of him to turn things around.

Chicago Cosa Nostra
Weekly Preview:
Chicago needs to get on track as they are by far the worst offensive team in the league.
Weekly Summary:
