MEDFORD SHAKES UP COACHING STAFF IN FIRST MAJOR CHANGE

MEDFORD, NJ – General Manager Ed Lilly announced late this afternoon that the entire coaching of the Shellfish have been let go. ” New ownership sometimes brings drastic change and we felt that a clean slate was the best way to proceed,” ” We will honor all contracts with the coaches and wish them well.”
The team wasted no time in announcing the new coaching staff. The 2003 Shellfish will be lead by Gene Mauch. Gene is looking redeem himself from the curse of 1964 and has signed a Lifetime contract (he’s old who knows). The rest of the staff is as follows..

Bench Coach: John Vukovich
Hitting Co-Coaches: Richie ” Dick” Allen & Richie Zisk
Pitching Coach: Joe Kerrigan
Infield Coach: Manny Trillo
Basepath Coach: Gary Maddux
Outfield Coach: Gary ” Double Duty” Maddux
Catching Coach: Bob Boone
Bullpen Coach: Tug McGraw
Trainer and Physical Fitness Coach: Greg Luzinski
