2011 PROPOSALS

PROPOSAL #1 – EXTRA WILD CARD TEAM & ROUND – *This proposal Passed by a 17 – 9 vote.

We would take TWO Wild Card Winners from the Non-Division winners with the best records, to make the Wild Card Round of the Playoffs.  Wild Card Round would be a 3 game series the day after the season, with all 3 home games being that of the 1st place Wild Card team. (Thus the #1 Wild Card team would have an advantage by hosting all 3 games). Best of two games wins the series.  There would be NO OFF DAY between the Wild Card Round and the Division Series. Thus making the Wild Card winner at a disadvantage in the Division Series when they face the #1 seeded Division winners.
All Division winners teams will have any itchy player set back to rested for the Division series.

Reason for the Proposal: To allow a 5th team a shot at the playoffs in each League.
