Next batter Billy Butler steps in, there goes Justin Upton…the throw…He’s safe. Next pitch to Butler nails him leaving men on 1st and 2nd nobody out. Mauer steps in…The pitch…grounder deep short Andrus can get there, they waive Upton around…the throw is too late, he scores. Bottle Rockets down only one, 4-3. Frasor just doesn’t look comfortable out there. Next, Beltran steps up. Pitch from Frasor…Beltran swings… A BLAST to right, it’s a no doubter. 6-4 Bottle Rockets win!! Bottle Rockets win!! We’ll see what kind of effect this loss might have on the Iron City squad. That was tough.

A walk, 2 singles and 2 doubles in the 2nd allows Tijuana to race out to a 4-0 lead. Carlos. Beltran hits his 2nd homer of the series (solo shot) and an RBI single from J.D. Drew in the 5th put the home team up 6-0. Greinke cruises thru 7, allowing 3 hits, a walk and zero runs. Tijuana hands things over to the pen. Each of Darren O’day and M. Yinzers strike back quick pushing 1 across in the bottom half of the inning. Tijuana adds a single run in each of the 7th and 8th innings and the bullpen combo of Miller, Belisario and Adams slams the door shut on Iron City and quite possibly there season as they are now down a deep 3-0 hole after losing this one by a score of 5-1.

Beltran strikes again delivering an rbi double in the 3rd putting Tijuana ahead 2-0. The 5th is where it falls apart for the Yinzers. Beltran delivers yet another rbi and B. Zobrist adds 2 of his own and Tijuana jumps out to the big 5-0 lead. C. Carpenter is dominant. He doesn’t give up his 1st hit until the 7th and allows 2 for the game. He goes the distance in the 2-hit shutout. He also goes 3-4 at the plate with a walk. Tijuana in a blowout 8-0!!! World Champions!!!!
