Random thoughts:

It was an absolute pleasure to play George h2h. He is a gentleman and sportsman. I think we chatted as much as played. The games were intense, with great managing and strategy by each owner. I feel very lucky to escape this series with 4 wins. In my mind, George is the greatest manager in MWBL history to not play in the world series. He has been profoundly unlucky in the playoffs compared to his in-season brilliance. This series is what MWBL is all about. And if we replayed it 99 more times, George would move on at least 50 times.

Kentucky hit 260/340/435 in the series with 5 home runs and 32 runs scored.
Sacramento hit 220/304/390 with 7 home runs and 23 runs scored.

Kentucky’s era is 4.00, and Sacramento’s is 5.93. KEN’s – Lidge, Wheeler, and Nelson combines for 8.1 scoreless innings out of the pen.

Series MVP is Jimmy Rollins hitting 333/478/833 scoring 4 runs and plating 8 RBI.
