Game #7: WEIRD GAME ALERT: how can 5-2 Selkirk win be weird…
How about Walleye Kyle Wright has a 96 game score!!! 11 no-hit innings he did allow 2 unearned runs in the 3rd thanks to Navarez error.
Pruitt and Chaffin do not give up a hit int he next 3 innings.  That’s 14 innings stopping a great Selkirk team.
In the 15th Torres singled panda gets to 2nd 1 out, Helesey IBB but then Hedges connects for a 3 run homer. 5-2 Selkirk.
Series Summary: Selkirk wins 5 of the 7 games but that 11 innings 96 game score no-hit performance by Kyle Wright was amazing!

Game #2: Encarnacion hit a 3 run HR in the 3rd to give Long Beach an early 3-1 lead. Jersey chipped away at the lead and tied it in the 7th on a Nunez HR. In the bottom of the inning, the Dirt Bags retook the lead when Encarnacion singled in Dozier. The next batter Bruce hit a 3 run bomb and Long Beach won 7-4.
Game #3: After Bruce opened the scoring with a solo shot in the bottom of the 2nd, Odor hit a 2 run HR in the 4th and Jersey went on to a 3-2 win. After Wisler only pitched an inning, the Nor’easters bullpen gave up just 4 hits in 8 innings.
Game #4: Long Beach scored 3 runs in the 6th to take a 4-3 lead. It stayed that way until the 9th when Bauers homered to tie the game. Nobody scored again until the 16th when Bauers again had the key hit singling in Ramirez who had tripled giving Jersey a 5-4 win. The Jersey bullpen threw 10 shutout innings.

Yonge Street Stalkers @ Fremont Cannons

Series Preview: Thanks to the schedule, Fremont gets to face Gerrit Cole twice. Great.
Game #1: Fremont actually gets to Gerrit Cole for four runs, but Sandy Alcantara turns in a typical horrid performance and allows homers to Eric Thames, Travis d’Arnaud, and Joc Pederson (twice). Cole strikes out 17 and Yonge Street wins 8-4. Already down Max Kepler, Fremont takes another blow to the OF early in the series, losing Mike Yastrzemski for 10 days from a HBP
Game #2: With two on and 1st open, Fremont chooses to walk Jorge Soler. Austin Nola follows up with a 1st inning grand slam that paces the Stalkers to the 5-3 victory. Adrian Houser moves to 9-1 on the season with a CG victory.
Game #3: Dylan Bundy was masterful in this one, pitching 9.1 scoreless innings. Yonny Chirinos was even better, facing 40 batters and pitching 11 scoreless. Kris Bryant broke the scoreless tie with a 12th inning solo HR. But Fremont manages to get two on base, and with two outs, a Byron Buxton PH triple brings them both home for the 2-1 extra-inning win.
Game #4: Yonge St is not happy with the Game 3 loss and pounds Derek Norris hard enough that Fremont throws in the towel. Norris allows 10 runs, and the Stalkers win 10-2. Jorge Soler leads the way with 2 HR (28, 29) and 5 RBI.
Game #5: Knowing that Cole is up next, Fremont has to get to Michael Pineda. This they are able to do, led by Carlos Correa’s 8th HR of the season, and a 3-5, 3 RBI day for Teoscar Hernandez. Jason Vargas and the bullpen shut out the Stalkers, and Fremont wins 7-0.
Game #6: Sandy Alcantara pitches decently, but Gerrit Cole snuffs out the Cannons as Fremont gets shut out 4-0. Kris Bryant hits homer 19 on the season.

Sharing is nice.
Game #7: Chris Sale didn’t need to share as he gave up just three hits in going the distance in the second-straight shutout of Bethesda 4-0.
I was going to say “what the f—” is up with Sale, but then I took a look at my lineup.
Kudos to you all the same, Mr. Sale, as you need the charity after sucking so badly in real life in 2019.
Series Summary: The Caps take five of seven from the ‘coots. Looking forward to the draft lottery!
