VS 3 TCP 4

SBL Muncy hits a solo-HR in the B6, his 44th, to cut the lead in half. VA Rizzo rbi-1b in the T7 gets the run back and C.Gallagher’s 2-run 3b in the T8 extends the lead. SBL Cave rips a 2-rbi 2b with the bases loaded to make it 6-4 VA. BUt VA Bracho would come on and after walking Canha would get a fly out and K Maxwell to end the threat. Bracho would get 1 more out before giving the ball to Vazquez for his 27th save as VA takes the first game. T.Williams witht he win.

VIR6, SBL 4

Game #2: VIR Merrifield opens the game with a lead-off solo-HR in the T1. SBL ties it on an Escobar rbi-1b in the B1. VA Devers hits a 2-run HR in the T4. But the SBL come back in the B5 when Altuve 2bs, Lowrie rbi-1b, and Muncy hits a 2-run HR for a 4-3 SBL lead. In the B6 Escobar adds another rbi-1b for a 5-3 SBL lead. SBL Holland setled down after the 4th and tosses 3 scoreless innings. VA adds a run in the T9 when Anderson 2bs and scores on a Santana rbi-1b off Moronta. But Osuna comes on and gets the last 2 out for his 43rd save. Holland gets the win.

SBL 5, VIR 4

Game #3: Not much to say about this one other than VIR roughs up SBL ace Foltynewicz as they score 5 runs (4 earned) off him. VA Rizzon started the scoring with a solo-HR in the T1. VIR blows the game open with 5 runs in the T5 with the big hit being a Bradley 2-rbi 2b. Castro has a 2-run 3b in the T7 for VIR. Escobar hits his 44th HR in a losing cause for the SBL. Archer gets the win for VIR.

VIR 10, SBL 4

In the B1 SBL get a Muncy rbi-2b, an Escobat rbi-1b, and a Cave 2-run HR for all the runs they would need. SBL Muncy adds HR#46 later in the game. VA got out in front in the T2 when Markakis bbs, Rondon 2bs, Anderson Sac fly, Santana bbs, CAstro 2-rbi 2b, and a Merrifield rbi-2b. Thats pretty much all she wrote as VIR Borucki is dominant on the mound giving up only 2 runs on 6 hits through 8.1 IP for the win. SBL Escobar adds 2 more rbi in the game to bring him to 160 on the season.

VIR 8, SBL 2

Series Summary: VA takes the series 4-2 and keeps their playoff hopes alive. SBL see their chance to clinch the AL West go by the wayside setting up the big series against Hollywood next week.
