2008 -2009 General Managers Meetings are now scheduled. It's
the time of year when all MWBL Franchises are wheeling and dealing.

The Chicago
Mobsters
making their second World Series appearance ever, took the Tempe
Tempers down in four straight games. Long time Mobsters
Chipper Jones, Ivan Rodriguez, & Billy Wagner all played big roles
in the Series. Chipper Jones shared his MVP Honors with

ON XM RADIO - MINORS & MAJORS
On Saturday August 23rd, the Mid-West Baseball League Commissioner
John "Stray" Corrado made a guest appearance on the Major & Minors show
on XM Radio. Host Grant Paulsen spent 12 plus minutes with the
Commissioner.

MWBL FUTURES - NOW AVAILABLE
The Mid-West Baseball League
2008 Futures list is now published as of
February 27, 2008. As the League gets
stronger we get closer and closer to picking all the Top 100.
This year we again missed by only ONE PLAYER. Many thanks go out to
